Steve Arhancet is the co-CEO and co-owner of Team Liquid, one of the world's most prominent esports organizations. As the company’s leader, Arhancet has helped define what it means to be a new media organization in the age of streaming and social media. The enterprise he has built over the past two decades spans the breadth of sports management, content production, influencer agency, apparel, and whitelabeling.
Team Liquid is the most successful esports franchise by two important metrics: over $57 million dollars in prize money won and over 120 major tournament victories. Arhancet was the first esports team owner to implement support systems and structures that have become industry standard, such as dedicated coaching, sports psychology, technologically advanced training facilities, and AI-infused strategic analysis.
As the architect of Team Liquid’s ascendancy, Arhancet has been featured in podcasts, documentaries, and conferences including the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference, VidCon US, Harvard Business Review, and Amazon Prime’s “Level Up”. Arhancet has also regularly appeared on mainstream print, television, and internet media outlets such as Yahoo News, Tech Insider, Business Insider, Forbes, the Los Angeles Times and ESPN.
