Andreas Fröhlich was born in West Berlin in 1965. In 1972, he was discovered as a ‘Funkkind’ in Ilse Obrich’s ‘Klingendes Haus’ and was subsequently employed as a radio drama narrator for SFB, in productions by Kurt Vethake and Ulli Herzog, and as a dubbing artist. In 1978, he was cast as Bob Andrews in the radio drama series “Die drei ???”. The 1980s saw him appear in television, film and, later, theatre productions. In addition, Andreas Fröhlich has narrated numerous audiobooks, written television scripts and can regularly be heard as the voice of Edward Norton and John Cusack in dubbing. Fröhlich describes himself as a ‘radio drama actor’.
