Glenn Mathijssen leads Circus Group's Belgian operations and is responsible for the CA-A, the group's autonomous station for freshly prepared, nutritious protein shakes and smoothies. He is a Belgian engineer and entrepreneur who co-founded Alberts, an early mover in European food robotics, which is now part of Circus Group - the AI and robotics company behind the CA-1 autonomous robot kitchen. Glenn holds a PhD and Post-Doc in Robotics Engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in co-tutelle with the University of Pisa and has published more than 25 peer-reviewed papers. He was named one of Belgium's 40 under 40 and chaired the EIT Food Alumni Board. His focus: AI-powered, sustainable food systems that make eating well the easiest option - anywhere, anytime.
