Following our strong showing last year, we are delighted to be part of IFA again this year and to welcome many existing and new partners from the specialist retail sector to the Retail Innovation Zone. In terms of key themes, alongside our new product, ‘Komplettschutz 2027’, we are particularly focused on the right to repair, which – alongside AI – will play a central role at IFA this year. We are therefore very much looking forward to this trade fair and hope that it will be just as successful for all participants as it was last year, and that it will once again maintain its status as the leading trade fair for specialist retailers and customers alike.
IFA 2026 is THE leading international trade show in our industry for experiencing innovations and trends at an early stage. The IFA Retail Innovation Zone brought together information and offerings, creating an efficient framework for specialist retail. For expert, the exchange with shareholders and industry partners, as well as international networking, was particularly valu-able. The involvement of our apprentices as Innovation Scouts also opened up new perspec-tives on trends. We will take these impulses with us from Berlin and use them to further shape expert’s strategic direction.
IFA is an important platform for Midea to showcase innovation and engage with consumers, retailers and partners. This year, through ‘Simply ideal’, we are showing how technology can respond to real everyday needs and make home living smarter, more efficient, comfortable and effortless.
