- Who can attend IFA Berlin as a private visitor?IFA Berlin is open to everyone. Whether you're a tech enthusiast, a design lover, a curious first-timer or bringing the whole family – IFA is built for all of them. The only requirement is a valid day ticket for your chosen date.
- When and where does IFA Berlin 2026 take place?IFA 2026 takes place from 4 to 8 September 2026 at Messe Berlin, Messedamm 22, 14055 Berlin, Germany. The venue is well connected by public transport and easy to reach from anywhere in the city.
- What are the opening hours for private visitors at IFA 2026?
For private visitors, the event opens from 12:00 to 18:00 on Friday, 4 September. From Saturday to Tuesday, 5 to 8 September, opening hours are from 10:00 to 18:00.
Families, school groups, and visitors with disabilities may enter from 10:00 on all event days.
The halls close daily at 18:00.
- How do I buy a ticket for IFA Berlin 2026?Private visitor tickets for IFA 2026 are available in our ticket shop. Select your ticket, complete your booking securely online, and receive your ticket instantly by email. One ticket gives you full access to all exhibition halls, show areas and experience zones on any day of your choosing. Please note that IFA Global Markets is a trade-only area and is not accessible with a private visitor ticket.
- Can I bring children to IFA Berlin?Yes – IFA is a family-friendly event with plenty to see and do for all ages. Across the venue you'll find interactive demos, robotics, gaming experiences and much more.
- What can I do and see at IFA Berlin as a private visitor?IFA offers five days of hands-on technology experiences across multiple exhibition halls and themed show areas. Highlights include live product launches from the world's leading brands, the Beauty Hub, Mobility Track, Outdoor Cooking & Gardening Zone, Creator Hub, stage sessions and the IFA Sommergarten – an open-air programme with live music, food and entertainment.
- Do I need to register in advance or can I buy a ticket on the day?You can buy tickets in advance online or on-site at the venue on the day. Buying online in advance is recommended to avoid queues and secure the best available price.
- Is IFA Berlin accessible for visitors with disabilities?Yes. Messe Berlin is fully accessible, with step-free entrances, lifts throughout the venue, accessible toilets and dedicated parking.
- What should I bring to IFA Berlin?Your ticket (digital or printed), a valid form of ID, and comfortable shoes – the venue is large and there's a lot to cover. The IFA App is your best companion on the day: use it to navigate the halls, check the programme and plan your route in advance.
- Is there food and drink available at IFA Berlin?Yes. IFA Berlin has a wide range of food and drink options across the venue, from quick-service kiosks to sit-down dining. The IFA Sommergarten also features its own food and beverage offer in an open-air setting.
